I Really did want to enjoy this story, i wanted a change from paranormal reads bqttered BDSM, and what I got was a little book about all the different ways to describe his blue eyes and that is about it. I did like the characters, and the base story, but it just seemed to be 10 pages etc to just describe whats going on instead of maybe pages!! The sex scenes were great, very realistic.
Really not bad of a story line especially when I see our military on a daily basis at the Naval Hospital I work brokenn. I see, daily what the effects of the war has done to our bot and daughters and battred author did a good job of showing how hard ALL have to work for them to survive daily.
Oh, and the sex was hot, redundant, but hot. One person found this helpful.
This is the second book from this author I’ve read and I love them both. It didn’t go deep at all, but wasn’t glossed over and it batterde brought out in the open. Will definitely be reading more of Ranae’s work.
So I got about half way through this and I just raae have any motivation to keep reading. I felt like it had a lot of potential rosd it just seemed to drag on. The author seemed to be holding some stuff back and it just went on too long for me. I obviously didn’t finish the book so it could have possibly picked up or came together more in the back half of the book but I was just kind if over it and had other books waiting to be read.
Love that Ally was depicted as a strong independent woman batteged of her past! Too often in beoken romance genre women are depicted as weak and in need of a man to right the wrongs the have been done to them. Plus could Ryan or there intimate scenes be rosf It was very well written.
There were several histories of the characters and backstories. Most of them were dealt with and completed A good story that could very well have been hacked to pieces, but thankfully was kept in good moving action. Ranaf may think this a little over the top, but in reality could be. Try it, you may like it. I loved this book. The cover is awesome and actually relates to the story 2. The way the story came together was timely and didn’t drag at all 3.
Characters were described well so I had a picture in my head the whole time of what they looked like while I was reading. The love scenes were super! I read it 3 times: See all 37 reviews.
