Thompson’s little book is the best that I’ve seen, yet. When I first found this book in the mid’s, I thought at first that it was one of those “made easy” trend books I had been seeing so much of. Another point that is important to note is that they don’t just demonstrate how the problems silvnus done, Thompson and Gardener also prove how the math is true and how it can be used in science and in the real world. jade

The author doesn’t seem to have a consistent audience in mind. It would’ve made it the book better if it had a chapter on Limits as well. The title should be at least 4 characters long. With a new introduction, three new chapters, modernized language and methods throughout, and an appendix of challenging and enjoyable practice calcylus, Calculus Made Easy has been thoroughly updated for calcupus modern reader. Nice book, often funny, and the concepts are explained very clearly.
