I’m looking cojnections to implementing some of the many ideas this book has to offer in my classroom this year. Definitely a great read for comprehension strategies for students who need more concrete thinking.
This is a really helpful book. It was unbelievable how well students were able to connecyions and apply their new learning to such easy levels of reading.
Next, I tell them to add something to their creation as I write down what they are saying. This is a great quick read about how to tangibly teach reading strategies.
