Malcolm York is a sadistic psychopath monster who abducted men, women, and children all over the world. Malcolm would sort out the biggest and strongest who can inflict pain on baron weakest.

York provided whatever his quests wanted. He didn’t care as long as they could be used to make money for him. Griff and Sanders killed Beverlt.

In the last five years, there have been sightings of Malcolm all over the world and rumors were surfacing. He’s given parties to his ruthless friends who have watched and participated in the hunt to kill. Griff, Damar, and Yvette were all there when they killed Malcolm. They know that this latest Malcolm York is an imposture. Griff wasn’t straightforward when he told Nicole what happened on Amara. Griff only told Nic half the truth.

However, the most important question Nic wanted to know was if Griff and Yvette were lovers. Subsequently, Griff had to tell Nic that Yvette had a baby on Amara, and possibly he was the father. Nic left Griffin’s Rest to spend time at the cabin in the country. While she was there, she was abducted and delivered to Malcolm. Griff is doing everything he can bartoon keep Nic heverly, even jumping over hoops when Malcolm does the bidding.

There was much excitement with ongoing action throughout the book.

There was never a dull moment with the gripping information Beverly Barton was giving to the reader leading to the very end, even though this was the bartkn of the series. She left a door slightly open.

I think, if her fans wanted to read a story about Yvette and Rafe, that Ms. Barton would have pleased her fans. It would make a sensational story with them both having psychic abilities.

Barton did a superb job of weaving in the ending. I’m heavy hearted at the passing of Beverly Barton. I looked forward to her yearly series.

A talented and skilled writer such as Beverly Barton doesn’t come around often. I recommend “Dead BY Nightfall”. One person found this bartin. This was the greatest by Beverly Barton!! I could not put the book down. I read it in two settings. I probably would have read it the first night I nigghtfall the bookif I hadn’t had to work the next day.

The novel had lots of suspense, death, suffering, and human trafficking. There were parts that brought tears to my eyes, especially the scenes that involved Jonas. He was so special. I could not wait until Nic was rescued and Malcom York was punished for his sins. Barton gave me this by the end of the story. If you like deep, dark secrets, and the evil sexual fantasies, that crazy men get off on, then purchase this book harton read it. Mass Market Paperback Verified Purchase. After reading so many bad reviews I was hesitant to purchase this book, but needed to bring closure to the series.

I have to say I disagree with many of the bad reviews. Although the book repeated a lot of information which was annoying an unneccessary, so I did skim over severl pagesI did not find that Nicole was tortured over and over as many other reviews had stated. Yes, she was tortured, but not to the extend as I had expected. She WAS kidnapped by a mad man, so if you were surprised by Nicoles experience, then you were just naive and haven’t really read many of Beverly’s books. I really thought Nicoles experience was well written as well as most of the rest of the book.

The only reason I did not give the book 4 stars was because of the repetitive information of some of the other storylines. It may not have been the best book ever written batton Beverly Barton, but it wasn’t the worst either. I am saddened by the loss of Beverly Barton who was an amazing writer, her stories of Griff and his colleagues always held my interest bsrton the turn of each page.

I will miss her work dearly.

If you have not read the Trilogy then unfortunately each new book is a little hard to follow, however if you were fortunate enough to experience her work then you know what a great storyline her books bring: However given the plot it went well with nighttfall storyline and I was grateful for a very happy ending. I was looking forward to perhaps Beverly writing another book that involved the romantic couples that were created in her previous books coming to Griffiths Rest for some type of mission.

But alas that will never be. I also got the impression with the ending of Dead by nightfall that Raf was going to try bevery locate Yvette’s long lost child. But now with the loss of Beverly Barton perhaps that will never see the light of day?

There is still so much life left in this trilogy!! I can only hope that a ghost writer will come in and try to continue Beverly’s work. It would not be the same but perhaps it will help carry on Beverly’s memory. Thank you for your great writing Beverly you will be missed. While I was drawn in by the previous book in this series, I did not enjoy the excessive violence or the perverted minds and acts of the bad guys which dominated this book.
