He diagnosis, in abstract and poetic strokes, the modern condition as opposed to the Biblical expectation in passages like this: His love for God is without pretense.

It helps you refocus on your journey and realize how small everything is in comparison to God. I found that each chapter left me with a burning desire in my heart to seek God and to know God.
